Your statutory rights are not affected.
6. Winner Selection and Confirmation
On [October 8, 2026] (the “Draw Date“), the Promoter will conduct a random draw from all eligible entries received before the Closing Date to select the potential winner(s). The potential winner(s) will be confirmed as the winner once the Promoter has verified that they meet the eligibility criteria in these Rules. The winner’s name and county of residence will be made available on request by emailing [ch.bookings@cabot.com] within 30 days of the Draw Date.
The potential winner(s) will be contacted by phone or email within seven working days of the Draw Date, using the contact details provided at the time of entry. Up to three contact attempts will be made. If the potential winner(s) cannot be reached or declines the prize, they will forfeit their selection and a replacement winner will be drawn at random. The Promoter is not responsible if a winner does not receive our notification or if we do not receive their response, where this is outside our reasonable control.
If there is a dispute about who submitted an entry, we will treat the entry as having been submitted by the person whose email address was used to register (the “Authorised Account Holder“). A winner may be asked to provide proof that they are the Authorised Account Holder.
7. Prize Acceptance and Liability
By accepting a prize, the winner releases the Promoter, its associated companies and their respective directors, officers and employees (together, the “Released Parties”) from all claims and losses arising from their participation in the Prize Draw or their use of the prize, except for any claim arising from a Released Party’s own negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. The winner also agrees to reimburse the Released Parties for any losses the Released Parties incur as a direct result of the winner’s own fraud or deliberate misrepresentation in connection with the Prize Draw. The Promoter may require the winner to enter into a Declaration of Eligibility and Release to give effect to the foregoing.
Nothing in these Rules excludes or limits the Promoter’s liability for: death or personal injury caused by the Promoter’s negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Subject to the above, the Promoter is not liable for: (i) inaccurate entry information, human error, technical faults or lost entries; (ii) telephone, network or system failures or outages; (iii) lost, incomplete or misdirected entries; (iv) damage to devices caused by participating in or downloading material in connection with the Prize Draw; (v) damage to property arising from participation in the Prize Draw or use of the prize; (vi) security or privacy breaches caused by third-party hackers; or (vii) failure to notify a potential winner where this is outside the Promoter’s reasonable control.
8. Cancellation and Changes
The Promoter may amend or cancel this Prize Draw if required by law or regulation, or where circumstances beyond its reasonable control make it impractical to run the Prize Draw as planned. Any changes will be published on the Promoter’s website. If the Prize Draw is cancelled, a random draw will be held from all eligible entries received by the cancellation date, where reasonably practicable.
9. Data Protection and Publicity
Your personal data will be processed by the Promoter in accordance with the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Promoter’s privacy policy at https://cabot.com/privacy-policy/.
